INDIANAPOLIS, July 15, 2024 ~ Thompson Thrift, a nationally recognized real estate company, has announced the expansion of its executive team for Thompson Thrift Construction. This dedicated construction arm serves as the multifamily business unit for Thompson Thrift. The company has promoted three team members in order to support its growing pipeline and backlog.
President of Thompson Thrift Construction, Brian Timberman, stated that these organizational changes reflect the company's commitment to fostering a culture of growth and leadership development. He also expressed pride in promoting from within and is confident in the continued success of these individuals.
The first two promotions are for team members who started their careers as interns with Thompson Thrift. Casey Maxie has been promoted to senior vice president of preconstruction and will be based in the Indianapolis office. In this role, Maxie will oversee preconstruction and material procurement for Thompson Thrift Construction. Rob Dougherty has been promoted to senior vice president of construction and will oversee construction operations from the Terre Haute office. Dougherty has been with Thompson Thrift for 22 years and has held various roles such as superintendent, director of quality control and warranty, and general superintendent before becoming a vice president in 2016.

Matt Nickel, who has worked for the company for a total of 17 years in various roles including project engineer, estimator, project manager, and project executive, has been promoted to senior vice president of project controls. He will be based in the Terre Haute office and will oversee project controls, scheduling, policies and procedures, quality control, warranty, and legal.
John Thompson, CEO of Thompson Thrift Construction, expressed excitement about these changes stating that it is an exciting time for the company. With a projected volume of over $600 million this year alone, these promotions and new roles within the executive team will ensure that they continue to operate with excellence while focusing on long-term strategic goals.

In 2023, the company embarked on over $1 billion of Class A multifamily and luxury leased housing communities.
