~ The annual Spark!Fishers festival presented by Meijer is set to return to the Nickel Plate Cultural District in Fishers this summer. The festival, which runs from June 25th to June 29th, offers a unique way for the community to celebrate Independence Day while showcasing the spirit of Fishers.

According to Marissa Deckert, Director of Fishers Parks, this year's festival will feature new elements that will enhance the overall experience for attendees. "We are thrilled to unveil new elements at this year's Spark!Fishers festival that will enhance our community's experience and celebrate the unique spirit of Fishers," said Deckert.

One of the most exciting additions to this year's festival is the partnership with the Fishers Art Center in the new Fishers Municipal Center. This partnership allows for a rich array of free programming, including art galleries featuring works by renowned Hoosier artist Kurt Vonnegut Jr., interactive activities, and local performances.

In addition to these new elements, there will also be a 1-Mile Walk/Run event open to participants of all ages and abilities. This fun-run-style event will take place in the middle of the day's festivities.
