~ Fishers, IN- The highly anticipated Spark!Fishers festival presented by Meijer is returning to the Nickel Plate Cultural District this summer for a weeklong celebration. From Monday, June 24 to Saturday, June 29, the festival will offer a variety of events and activities for the community to enjoy while also showcasing the unique spirit of Fishers.
This year's festival will feature a new schedule of events, including the popular drone show which will now close out the Tuesday concert. Attendees can also look forward to a fireworks display at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater on Friday night following the concert. In addition, a 1-Mile Walk/Run has been added to the lineup alongside the traditional Spark!Fishers 5k.
The grand marshal for this year's Spark!Fishers parade will be Indy Ignite, Indiana's first professional volleyball team. The team is set to make their debut in January 2025 and will be based at Fishers' new Event Center, scheduled to open in fall 2024.
Visitors can also take advantage of free programming at the newly opened Fishers Municipal Center during Saturday's events. This includes art galleries featuring works by renowned Hoosier artist Kurt Vonnegut Jr., as well as interactive activities and performances by local performing arts groups.
