September 22, 2023 ~ On Monday, September 25, the second phase of the LaSalle Avenue Streetscape Project will begin. The construction will move to the north side of the street from Hill Street to the St. Joe River. Westbound traffic will be able to turn south at Hill and Niles intersections, however, LaSalle Avenue will only be accessible from St. Louis Boulevard to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in a westbound direction. An eastbound detour has been established for LaSalle Avenue, taking motorists south on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and then east on Colfax Avenue to Eddy Street.
