~ The City of South Bend is gearing up for the third annual South Bend Global Cup, set to take place this Saturday, October 4, 2025. The event will be held at Boehm Park from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is expected to draw in a large crowd.

The South Bend Global Cup is a one-day soccer tournament that celebrates the diversity and universality of sports in the city. This year, the event will also feature food trucks at Boehm Park for attendees to enjoy throughout the day.

In collaboration with Downtown South Bend's First Fridays, there will be a special Procession of Flags on Friday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. to kick off the tournament weekend. The procession will start at Gridiron Plaza and make its way through the 100 and 200 blocks of Michigan Street as part of First Fridays' Fall in Love with Downtown celebration.

Families, children, and soccer fans are encouraged to attend both events as they are free and open to the public. Attendees can also look forward to interactive soccer games for kids on Gridiron Plaza during First Fridays' festivities.
