~ South Bend, Indiana - On November 20, 2024, Mayor James Mueller and other city and council leaders gathered to commemorate the completion of the LaSalle Park project with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The work on LaSalle Park began in August 2023 and was completed earlier this year after successful remediation by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). A unique sloped roller skating loop has also been added, along with an additional pavilion and picnic area for large events and family gatherings.
