August 29, 2025 – The City of South Bend's trash and yard waste pickup service will be delayed by one day during the holiday week of September 1 through September 5. City offices are closed Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day.

- Tuesday, September 2: Areas normally serviced on Monday
- Wednesday, September 3: Areas normally serviced on Tuesday
- Thursday, September 4: Areas normally serviced on Wednesday
- Friday, September 5: Areas normally serviced on Thursday
