INDIANAPOLIS - IndianaStop -- The Rossi Companies learned of a posting midday Sunday, May 4th, 2025 that was posted on the White House's social media account of "X" (formerly twitter), in which President Donald Trump (47) was portraying himself as the Holy Pontiff, or the Pope in what appears an AI generated image. This posting was made through the office of the White House on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, and has yet to be retracted by the current administration.

After further explanation to the substance of the post, we have determined that this was a valid posting made by the White House account on its social media platform of "X" (formerly Twitter), and find it to be a gross misrepresentation of the Catholic Church, the papacy, and all Catholics around the globe. "We found it to truly signify how this administration views Catholicism as a slight joke, and will not condone or accept the malice made against a faith that many of us hold so dearly and close to our hearts... especially in light of the White House creation of the Faith Office back on February 7, 2025."  We found this to be a real "Punch in the Gut" towards the Catholic community, and now can only seek the Act of Contrition from the Vatican. This was a tasteless and profound misrepresentation of somebody that has no business what so ever, holding himself out to be a dually elected Pontiff that can only be elected by the Conclave held within the Vatican itself.

There are many devout Catholics within the walls of the Rossi Companies, and we all hold very sacred religious ties to the Catholic Church, and view this act as unforgiving to our faith. "We will be seeking our own penance through our elected officials in the coming days ahead, and will not rest until made whole".

After further contemplation and reflection of this tasteless reverence made by this President, the Rossi Companies will no longer perform or bid on any Federally funded projects effective immediately while this administration holds office, as we can no longer view this Government as acceptable partners, or deem them as good stewards of this Country. "We're certain that many others share our values, and hope they will follow our lead with this initiative."

A sitting President represents everyone in this country as a whole, and when that person makes a mockery of something as significant as the Pontiff himself, THAT is not someone we can claim as a Presidential steward representing our best interests... PERIOD !!! "
