FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - IndianaStop -- Lineus Medical announces that it has added a new executive team member with the hiring of Larry Hayes from Richmond, VA. Larry joins Lineus Medical as Vice President of Sales and leads all sales related efforts for the company.
Larry has over 20 years of experience across the medical device and medical technology field and has worked with 4 different successful early-stage startups. Before becoming Vice President of Sales at Lineus Medical, he was the Vice President Interventional Imaging at GE Healthcare where he led commercial teams in the United States and Canada for GE's Interventional Imaging Systems. He was the Vice President of International Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy at IntroCare where he grew their global sales, and improved their marketing, commercial, regulatory, and medical affairs functions. Larry spent 8 years working abroad growing international sales and relations at EziSurg Medical and Vascular Flow Technologies. Prior to his international experience, Larry held several sales management positions at Banyan Biomarkers and W.L Gore & Associates. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Catawba College.

The CEO of Lineus Medical, Vance Clement, stated "Larry has a vast experience with startup companies in motivating and leading sales teams. We have a great product and a good base of customers, and we are excited to work with Larry as we take sales to new heights."
"I'm very excited to join the talented team at Lineus Medical," said Larry Hayes. "The clinical results of the company's flagship product, SafeBreak Vascular, showed significant improvements over the current standard of care, with promising health-economic outcomes that benefit clinicians and their patients1. I'm looking forward to optimizing our commercial strategy and growing sales significantly."
SafeBreak Vascular is the only break-away device for IV lines proven to reduce IV complications.1 When a harmful force is placed on the line, SafeBreak intentionally separates to remove the damaging force and protect the patient's IV. When SafeBreak separates, valves on both ends of the device close preventing medicine spills from the pump and blood loss from the patient. To replace SafeBreak, each component is unthreaded from the line, a new sterile SafeBreak is installed, and the patent's infusion is restarted. Patients avoid additional needlesticks, nurses save time, and hospitals save money. 1 It's a win-win-win.
