INDIANAPOLIS, March 12, 2025 ~ Comcast, a leading telecommunications company, has recently announced its generous contribution of a $37,500 grant to INvets, a non-profit organization based in Indianapolis. The grant will support INvets' entrepreneurs' program in partnership with Venture Vets, which aims to assist veterans and their families in transitioning to civilian life.
The grant from Comcast will specifically go towards providing educational sessions for veterans and their families on various digital skills such as financial management systems, digital marketing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. In addition to this, the grant will also support guest speakers and provide a technology upgrade stipend for participants to utilize software from their learned systems.
Craig D'Agostini, regional vice president of Government External and Government Affairs at Comcast expressed his excitement about supporting INvets in their efforts to provide essential digital skills to returning military members and their families. He emphasized the importance of closing the digital skills gap by ensuring access to high-speed internet and digital literacy education for all Hoosiers.

Through partnerships with local community organizations, Comcast offers free internet access through Lift Zones and supports vital programs that provide participants with digital literacy training and navigation services.

She stated that providing them with the necessary tools and skills is crucial for them to find meaningful employment and thrive in their communities. Ultimately, this support from Comcast will not only benefit individual veterans but also contribute to strengthening Indiana's economy.
