PITTSBURGH, April 14, 2025 ~ An inventor from Indianapolis, Indiana has come up with a new security camera system that could greatly benefit retailers and other businesses. The inventor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has named the invention FACE WEB.
According to the inventor, the idea for FACE WEB came from a need for an improved security camera system in various enterprises and institutions. The design allows authorized personnel such as store employees, security personnel, managers, and others to access live video footage from the security cameras and digitally mark individuals as potential shoplifters or suspicious persons.
The patent-pending invention utilizes facial recognition technology and can be used in a variety of settings including retail stores, commercial buildings, institutional buildings, and government buildings. It aims to identify individuals who are committing offenses such as shoplifting or acting suspiciously. Additionally, it can track repeat offenders within a store or business.
