PITTSBURGH, July 29, 2025 ~ Manitowoc, Wisc. - An inventor from Manitowoc, Wisc. has created a new and innovative way to combine a mobility aid with a self-defense tool. The inventor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has named the invention "THE BOOMER CLUB."

The idea for THE BOOMER CLUB came to the inventor when they realized the need for a discreet and effective self-defense tool that could also serve as a walking cane. "I thought there should be a way to combine a mobility aid together with a self-defense tool," said the inventor.

The design of THE BOOMER CLUB offers the appearance of a harmless walking cane, but also provides an element of surprise to thwart potential attackers. This not only adds an extra layer of safety and peace of mind for users, but also helps increase stability and mobility.
