PITTSBURGH, July 22, 2024 ~ An inventor from Indianapolis, Indiana has created a new product that aims to increase safety on the road. The R A C M- REFLECTIVE AUTOMOTIVE CAR MATS not only serve as vehicle mats or rugs, but also double as safety warning products in the event of a roadside emergency.
The inventor, who wishes to remain anonymous, shared that the idea for these mats came from a personal experience. "I wanted to create a set of vehicle mats or rugs that could also double as safety warning products in the event of a roadside emergency," they said. "My design would increase visibility and warn approaching motorists of a disabled car, accident scene, or roadside problem."
The patent-pending invention provides an improved set of floor mats for vehicles. Its main purpose is to alert approaching motorists of a disabled vehicle along the roadside, thus increasing visibility and safety. It also offers an alternative to traditional safety cones that are bulky and take up valuable space.
