INDIANAPOLIS, July 19, 2024 ~ The sixth-annual Indy Tech Gives campaign, hosted by OneCause, has once again proven to be a successful and impactful event. This year's campaign, which ran from June 1 to July 7, raised over $70,000 for nonprofits in the Indianapolis area. Since its launch in 2019, Indy Tech Gives has raised a total of $325,000 for various charities through the collective efforts of more than 1,000 employees and over 30 companies.
Indy Tech Gives is a 5-week social and corporate fundraising challenge that brings together companies in Indiana's thriving tech community to raise money for nonprofits of their choosing. Within each company, employees set up personal fundraising pages and join teams with their colleagues to collect donations through the OneCause peer-to-peer social fundraising platform. This year's campaign saw a total of 223 tech professionals forming 25 teams and achieving an impressive 140% of the overall fundraising goal.
OneCause CEO Steve Johns expressed his excitement about the success of Indy Tech Gives, stating that it "leverages the strength of fundraising technology and community spirit." He believes that this campaign showcases how the collective enthusiasm of the Indy tech community can be channeled towards supporting nonprofits and driving positive change. "It's a wonderful example of how technology can unite people from diverse backgrounds and ignite creativity to make a profound impact," he added.

OneCause also highlighted some key highlights from this year's campaign. These included employees around the country joining in on the fundraising efforts through social sharing resulting in donations from 24 different states.
