~ Fishers, Indiana - INCOG BioPharma Services, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in sterile injectable biopharmaceuticals, has announced a new investment to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The company is set to break ground on a second 100,000-square-foot building on its campus in August.
This expansion will increase INCOG's commercial-scale device assembly capacity for autoinjectors, pens, wearable injectors, and syringe accessorizing. It will also add new labeling and final packaging capabilities. With the construction of this second building, INCOG will be able to offer comprehensive end-to-end solutions from filling to device assembly and final packaging. This will streamline the process and simplify the supply chain solution for its global biopharma customers.
Cory Lewis, CEO and Founder of INCOG, expressed excitement about the new investment and the opportunities it brings for their customers. "Our customers will have access to a suite of solutions from filling through final packaging," said Lewis. "This supply chain integration is essential in accelerating a drug product to commercial launch, especially in today's constrained markets where there is a growing need for sterile injectable products to address challenging diseases and improve healthcare outcomes."

The expansion project is expected to create over 100 high-paying jobs, further establishing Fishers and the state of Indiana as global leaders in biopharmaceutical innovation and manufacturing. According to the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), Indiana is the largest exporter of pharmaceutical products in the continental United States. The state's life science sector currently has over 3,000 companies employing 67,000 people and contributing $95 billion to the economy. The IEDC and the City of Fishers played a crucial role in supporting INCOG's efforts to obtain funding for this expansion.
Lewis added that they are proud to contribute to the social and economic growth of Fishers by creating new jobs and fostering a vibrant life science community. He also acknowledged the support of the city and IEDC, saying they have served as an extension of their team. "It's exciting to bring current and prospective clients to our facility so they can experience the growing community where we do business," said Lewis.
Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness also expressed pride in INCOG's growth and expansion into a second building. "This expansion reinforces Fishers as a leading hub for life sciences and biopharma manufacturing," said Fadness. "INCOG has played a significant role in building the industry cluster in Fishers, and we look forward to celebrating their future successes."

This new investment comes on the heels of INCOG's current work to commission and install a second high-speed syringe and cartridge filling line, along with supporting automated visual inspection equipment. The new filling line will complement the company's existing multi-use filling line, bringing its filling capacity to 140 million units per year. The automated visual inspection and autoinjector assembly capabilities are already available, with the additional syringe filling capacity expected to come online in Q2 2025. These enhancements will enable INCOG to meet the growing demand for biopharmaceutical solutions that utilize pre-filled syringes and autoinjector delivery mechanisms.
With this expansion, INCOG is poised to continue its growth as a leader in sterile injectable biopharmaceuticals while contributing to the economic development of Fishers and Indiana as a whole.
