~ Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry has announced that the city will continue its tradition of hosting quarterly Traveling City Hall meetings in 2025. The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12 at the Dream Center located at 16 W. Morgan Ave.
Similar to the previous year's events, the four Traveling City Hall meetings in 2025 will be held at different locations throughout the city. This provides an opportunity for residents to directly hear from Mayor Terry and speak with department heads from various city government departments.
The schedule for the 2025 Traveling City Hall meetings is as follows:
- Wednesday, February 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Dream Center (16 W. Morgan Ave.)
- Wednesday, May 14, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Sunrise Pump Station
- Wednesday, August 20, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at a location yet to be determined
- Monday, November 3, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at a location yet to be determined
Each meeting will begin with brief remarks from Mayor Terry providing updates from her office. Following this, residents will have the opportunity to voice their concerns and speak directly with officials from all city departments and special guests from other organizations.

In previous years, special guests such as United Neighborhoods of Evansville, CenterPoint Energy, University of Evansville and representatives of Indiana Department of Transportation's Lloyd4U project have attended these events. The special guests for the upcoming meetings in 2025 are yet to be determined.
In addition to these quarterly meetings, Mayor Terry's administration will also hold other events throughout the year for public input and conversation on specific topics. In January of 2025 alone, there will be three such events including an Animal Control Town Hall on Wednesday, January 15 at the C.K. Newsome Center, a community conversation on Evansville Water-Sewer Utility on Saturday, January 25 at the Sunrise Pump Station, and a Parks Chat hosted by the Evansville Department of Parks & Recreation for Ward 4 residents on Wednesday, January 29 at the East Branch Library.
Mayor Terry emphasized the importance of these events in connecting with Evansville residents and addressing their concerns. "As a city government, we are here to serve the residents of Evansville," she stated. "It is our responsibility to ensure we're accessible, transparent, and responsive to the needs of our community. Traveling City Hall is an important way for us to connect directly with Evansville residents - to answer their questions, address their concerns, and hear their ideas about how we can move our city forward."
More information about future events, including the locations of the final two Traveling City Hall meetings in 2025, will be announced at a later date. Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings and engage with their local government on issues that matter most to them.
