Indianapolis ~ Indianapolis-based Cunningham Restaurant Group has announced plans to open a new fine-dining restaurant and small-plates bar at The Union at Fishers District. The two-story building, located near Interstate 69 and 116th Street, will also be home to several other new tenants, including Flower Child, Dot Sugar, and The Oakmont.
According to developer Thompson Thrift, CRG has signed a lease for a 5,700-square-foot space on the second floor of the building and a 2,400-square-foot bar on the ground floor. The concept for these new establishments is still being finalized but is expected to be unique to both the Fishers market and the CRG portfolio.
CRG currently operates over 20 restaurant concepts in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, including popular spots like Rize, Bru Burger Bar, Provision, Livery, and Vida. With their expansion into The Union at Fishers District, they are sure to bring their signature style and delicious cuisine to this growing community.

Joining CRG at The Union will be Flower Child, a fast-casual concept owned by Cheesecake Factory subsidiary Fox Restaurant Concepts. This will be their second location in Indiana after opening their first in Nora earlier this year. Known for their fresh-made customizable bowls, wraps, and salads, Flower Child has over 40 locations in 15 states.
In addition to these two exciting additions, Thompson Thrift also announced lease deals with dessert shop Dot Sugar and restaurant/bar The Oakmont. Dot Sugar offers an array of unique international desserts and drinks and has franchised shops in several international locations. Meanwhile, The Oakmont opened its Mass Ave location earlier this year and offers a large drink menu of cocktails along with sharable appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and brunch items.
The Union at Fishers District is quickly becoming a hub for dining and entertainment with previously announced tenants such as Piedra Kitchen Social, Niku Sushi, Everbowl, Racha Thai, Renova Aesthetics, Sweathouz, Unplug Soy Candles, and a jewelry store. Many of these tenants are expected to open their doors this year.

Additionally, there is about 70,000 square feet of Class A office space still available for lease.
The developer began work on the 123-acre Fishers District development in 2015 and broke ground on The Union in mid-2025. This mixed-use development includes retail and restaurant space, Class A office space, a 135-room AC Hotels by Marriott, luxury apartments, and structured parking. With its prime location and diverse offerings, The Union at Fishers District is sure to become a popular destination for residents and visitors alike.
