~ The City of South Bend, in collaboration with Downtown South Bend and the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County, is set to unveil the draft of the Downtown South Bend 2045 plan at a special event on Thursday, February 27 at 6pm. The event will take place at the Leighton Auditorium in the St. Joseph County Public Library's Community Learning Center.
The presentation will provide an opportunity for community members to learn about the key themes of the plan and its vision for the future of downtown South Bend. Following the presentation, attendees will have a chance to visit various stations highlighting different aspects of the plan.
In addition, an open house will be held on Tuesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 6 at the Howard Park Event Center from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. A brief presentation will take place each day at 12pm. The open house is designed to give community members a more in-depth understanding of the plan's elements and gather feedback.
