The 6'x12' cargo trailer, which will be available for free to neighborhoods, community groups, and City departments, will serve as a mobile hub for block parties, pop-up events, and meetings across the city.

The call for proposals is open to all professional artists and artist teams aged 18 and older. The chosen artist will receive a $1,000 honorarium for their work, and the City will handle the printing and application of the design.

"We are thrilled that this new community resource will also serve as an opportunity to showcase the work of Bloomington's talented local artists," said a spokesperson from the City. "We envision a fun and inviting exterior design that reflects our vibrant community spirit. Inside, the trailer will be equipped with all necessary supplies to host an amazing community event."
