~ Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington is set to make further improvements to its street and parking infrastructure starting the week of June 8. According to city officials, the focus will be on installing pavement markings on various streets throughout the city.
Pavement markings, which include painted lines, arrows, crosswalks, bike lane symbols, stop bars, and other street markings, play a crucial role in guiding users through the roadway. The installation is weather-dependent and is scheduled for several locations over the course of three days.
On Tuesday, June 9, pavement marking installation will take place on W 6th Street from N Rogers St to N Morton St, W 7th Street from N Rogers St to B-Line, and N Madison Street from W 3rd St to W 7th St. The following day, Wednesday June 10, work will continue on E 9th Street from N Morton St to N Walnut St and E 10th Street from N Morton to N Walnut St. On Thursday and Friday (June 11-12), S Henderson St from E Hillside Dr to E 3rd St will be the focus of pavement marking installation.
