The BMCHRC is specifically looking for nominees who have made significant efforts to help residents access housing, employment, public spaces, or services. As the enforcer of the local Human Rights Ordinance, the Bloomington/Monroe County Human Rights Commission also provides education to ensure that residents are aware of their rights and responsibilities under the law.
