Bloomington, Ind. ~ Bloomington, Ind.—The annual Holiday Market is quickly approaching and Parks and Recreation is inviting local and regional artists to apply for vending space at the event. The market will take place on November 30 at 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington, next to City Hall.
Interested artists can submit their applications online or by calling 812-349-3725 to request an application. There is a non-refundable jury fee of $20 per application. To be considered, all applications must be received by August 23 at 11:59 p.m.
This year marks the 22nd annual Holiday Market, which will feature booth spaces both inside City Hall and outside at Showers Common from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. However, there are only a limited number of indoor booth spaces available.

Applications will be divided into ten categories including clay, drawing/painting/photography, fiber arts, metalwork/woodwork, glass, jewelry, natural materials, personal care, recycled arts, and surface decoration. A jury will review all applications and select artists based on the style and quality of their work, pricing of their pieces, and diversity among the chosen artists.
All artwork for sale at the Holiday Market must be original and made by the applicant themselves. It must also meet safety standards and exhibit quality craftsmanship.
Visitors to the Holiday Market in November can expect to find seasonal locally grown farm products as well as artisan foods and beverages from local small businesses. They can also browse through unique art pieces and fine crafts made by local artists.
