Bloomington, Ind. ~ Bloomington's Frank Southern Ice Arena is set to open its doors to the public on October 11th for the first general admission public skating session of the 2024-25 season. Located at 2100 S. Henderson St., the arena will offer a variety of skating opportunities for all ages.
The general admission public skating sessions will only take place during scheduled times. However, the hours for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are subject to change. Interested individuals can check the ice arena's calendar of events or call the Ice Information Hotline at 812-349-3741 for the most up-to-date weekend schedule. On weekdays, general admission public skating will be available from noon until 2:30 p.m.

Admission to all public skating sessions is $6 per person, with an additional $3 fee for skate rental. Children under five years old can enjoy free admission.
In addition to regular skating sessions, the ice arena will also host special events such as Skate & Scare on October 19th from 7-9 p.m. This event invites people of all ages to come dressed in their best costumes and skate to spooky tunes while also exploring a haunted locker room. Admission for Skate & Scare is $6 per person with a $3 skate rental fee.
