~ Bloomington Fire Department Launches Annual Holiday Food Drive to Support Local Nonprofits
The Bloomington Fire Department (BFD) has announced the return of its annual holiday food drive, "Heroes Helping Hoosiers." As the holiday season approaches, BFD will be collecting non-perishable food items throughout the month of December to support local nonprofits in their efforts to combat hunger in the community.
Since its inception in 2019, this food drive has become a meaningful way for BFD and Bloomington residents to come together and make a positive impact on their neighbors in need. By donating non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and boxed meals, residents can play a crucial role in ensuring that everyone has a chance to enjoy the holiday season.
