~ Bloomington, IN- The City of Bloomington's Commission on the Status of Children and Youth is seeking nominations for the 2025 SWAGGER Awards. These awards recognize young individuals in the community who consistently demonstrate kindness, personal growth, and a commitment to promoting respect in their daily lives.
Nominations are open to youth residing in Bloomington and can be submitted by educators, family members, neighbors, friends, service providers, or members of faith communities. The deadline for nominations is Monday, May 12. Nominees must fall into one of four grade-level categories: K-3, 4-6, 7-8, and 9-12.

Nomination forms and further details can be found on the city's website at bloomington.in.gov/cscy. The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 3 from 6-7 p.m. at Switchyard Park. Honorees will receive prizes and an official proclamation from the City of Bloomington. A light dinner will also be provided for all nominees, their families, nominators, and supporters.
The Commission on the Status of Children and Youth's mission is to foster meaningful connections within the community that empower and enhance the lives of children and youth in Bloomington.
