~ Bloomington, IN- The City of Bloomington is offering residents the opportunity to participate in the 2025 Resident-Led Traffic Calming Program. This program aims to enhance safety and decrease vehicle speeds on residential streets. It has been successfully implemented for the past four years and has resulted in significant speed reductions and safer streets in various neighborhoods across Bloomington.
Interested residents can submit a letter of intent by Friday, April 4th to propose traffic calming measures in their neighborhood. The deadline for the full application is Friday, April 25th. Applications will be reviewed between May and June, with selected projects being announced in July.
