Bloomington: Animal Shelter Announces Matching Fundraiser to Help Animals in Need

Trending...
Bloomington, Ind. ~ Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter is hosting a special community fundraiser, "Double the Love," from September 1 to September 21. The fundraiser aims to support the shelter's medical fund, which provides emergency surgeries, medical treatments, and other essential care for animals in need.

According to Virgil Sauder, Director of the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter, this fundraiser is a matching campaign where every dollar donated will be matched up to $20,000. This means that each contribution will have double the impact in helping animals in need.

Sauder expressed his gratitude for the opportunity this fundraiser presents for the community to directly impact an animal's life. With the shelter currently over capacity and their budget unable to meet the growing demand for medical care, this fundraiser comes at a critical time.
