~ As summer approaches, parents are on the lookout for engaging and educational activities for their children. Luckily, the Indy Art Center and Fishers Art Center have just announced their lineup of summer camps, catering to a wide range of interests.
With a total of 116 camps to choose from, there is something for every child. And this year, 21 new camps have been added to the roster. Registration is now open on FishersArtCenter.org.
What sets these camps apart is the variety of options available. Campers can choose from activities such as making Taylor Swift-inspired friendship bracelets, learning to use 3D printers, or designing their own dinosaurs. And with half-day sessions, campers can even enroll in both a morning and afternoon camp for a full day of art-making.
The camps also offer a unique experience by allowing campers to mix and match their morning and afternoon sessions. This means they can explore different mediums and techniques throughout the day.

Some of the exciting camps include beaded jewelry making, makerspace camp, creative crochet, cake art, cartoons and characters, glass art, photography, clay work, art and theater, Lego stop motion animation, and manga illustration.
According to Michelle O'Hollaren, vice president of education and innovation at the Indy Art Center and Fishers Art Center, what makes these camps truly special is the quality of instruction. All instructors are trained teaching artists and each camp has a small class size with an instructor and assistant present.
O'Hollaren also emphasized that these camps offer more than just art-making. Campers will have the opportunity to make new friends while exploring different mediums in a fun environment. They will also get to see artwork in galleries during breaks from creating.
Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity for your child to learn new skills while having fun at summer camp. Register now before spots fill up!
